The Sayaka Inka Cultural Group are descendants from the Sayaka Inka Village in Puno Peru, near the sacred Lake Titicaca. They came to the United States to fulfill a 500 year old prophecy of their people; the Condor would reunite with the Eagle. During their visit in the United States, they have continued to meet with several North American Indigenous Tribes to fulfill this prophesy and danced the "Dance of the Condor" for the final time at the Santa Barbara Zoo before the California Condor Exhibit.

In November 2009, the Group will leave for Puno Peru and a ceremony will be prepared for the wings of the Condor. These wings have been passed down through five generations and will then be laid to rest by the River of the Condor.
